AIRBUS H125 / AS350
Savannah Aerial Filming operate a standardised fleet of Airbus H125 B2 and H125 B3 aircraft. The H125 is a single engined turbine helicopter, ideally suited for the harsh African conditions. With a high cruise speed, long endurance, very capable lifting performance and known reliability, the H125 becomes the ideal helicopter to perform demanding missions.
The Airbus (AS350) H125 is the aircraft of choice for gyro-stabilized aerial cinematographers. The H125 has the power to handle external loads in “hot and high” conditions and still maintain adequate maximum airspeed. Constructed using composite materials this aircraft provides a smooth, vibration-less shooting platform ensuring high stability at extremely long focal lengths. As well as the performance capability comes a large cabin with the added advantage of a sliding doors on the co-pilot side.
